Just Testing My Patience

Today was quite a fun day. My kids were having one of those days where they just wanted to see how far they could push Mommy till she would snap. They were pretty good at it today. I have really been working on being more patient, (those that know me well know how short fused I can be). Every little thing they did just really irritated me and then the wining and crying drives me nuts. Well that's all we heard all day long. It was nice when I sat down in Relief Society and didn't have to worry about it till sacrament meeting. We left about twenty minutes early. Dan was dragging Carter out screaming, "I don't want to go home I'll be good!'' and I was just dragging Bailey out screaming. It was quite embarrassing. I'm sure every mother has those days. Today was mine. Bailey is in bed and Carter is watching a movie. So I am enjoying the quietness, ( and Celine Dion):) Even though we had a rough day I still love my children. I am learning to be more patient and today it took some extra work, but we are all still alive. I had a to take a picture of Bailey in her dress. Jenna found it in St. George and it had a matching doll dress. Of course we couldn't leave Carter out so he jumped in one too. They truly are amazing children and we have been very blessed with their sweet spirits.
