Carter had his first karate tournament a few weekends ago. We didn't know what to expect but had so much fun! He competed in padded swords, board breaking, and flag sparring. Padded swords was his first ecent so I think he was nervous and was up against a girl. He gets in trouble for hitting his sister, but we've got to train him it's okay to hit a girl if he's in a karate event and that's what she chose. The next one was board breaking and got 3rd place. He also got 3rd place in flag sparring. Good job Bubba!!!
