Girl's Day at IKEA

So what happens when for ladies and a two year old go to IKEA for a day? Way too much!!! We went to Ikea with intentions of taking Dakeri out for her birthday, but Tony already had plans with her. so we went anyways. I always laugh so hard when I'm with my sisters. We had lunch in their cafe and then walked through that huge store laughing the entire time, (and yes Hollie was able control her bladder). We found some cool stuff. They were able to find a couple of beds that will work for Hollie in a tight space. I was so excited when I came across the perfect bed for two small children in a tight space. I just have convince Dan of how brilliant it is. By the time we finally get out of apartment life I will be able to write a book on organizing an apartment. Carter stayed with Aaron, Kelsie and the twins. Aaron is awesome. Thanks! He took all four kids to a store and someone asked him if he had triplets. They went down to see the skunk they caught. When he was telling Traci later that night what he saw he told her, "I saw a Stunk". Silly boy. Anyways, i had a really fun day and enjoyed spending time with some of my best friends!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone. We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. We had a weekend full of Easter Egg hunts and family. Saturday we made it over to Gronny and Poppi's for an egg hunt and a nice dinner. Then over to Grandma Denese's on Sunday. The kids had a blast. I think Bailey had too much sugar before church. The nursery leader says that Bailey is one of their quietest kids in there and she was running around screaming and singing I am a child of God the whole time. At the end of the day yesterday Carter said to me, "Mommy the easter bunny is so nice."
Now that the Easter egg hunts are all done we can reflect on why we really celebrate Easter. The lesson I taught in Sunday school today was on repentance. I am so grateful for the Savior's atonement and sacrifice for us so that we can repent for sins. How many times have we suffered for one reason or another and asked our Heavenly Father to just take this pain away from us and he does? Think of Christ in Gethsemene suffering for all our sins and how bad our Father in Heaven wanted to take his pain away, but didn't so that we wouldn't have to suffer. I just think that is amazing.
